This is VERY Important! I am helping a friend from high school launch a non-profit. It's been a 7 year project. She has a Fiscal Sponsor. She is a friend of mine since teen years - our daughters went to high school together. We have faced all kinds of discrimination in the city and region we grew up in. I have witnessed so much. But, we all believe in Diversity - as all bring something to the table. I, myself, believe in Interfaith. All Faiths and No Faith coming together for discussion. We find by coming together - at the table EQUITABLY - we are all facing similar issues in our own backyards. We could not find common ground if EVEN ONE VOICE gets left out or excluded from the Table of Discussion. All Tables of Discussion must incorporate the stakeholders. I need support helping my friend write her 'Diversity & Inclusion Policy' while ensuring we have 'Best Practices' in place that MAKE that stated D&I Policy HAPPEN SUSTAINABLY ACROSS TIME. The Policy writing for any start-up, Profit or Non-profit is daunting. She does Trauma Informed Art Therapy not Policy Writing. But she is getting good at Policy Writing now. Please help us help her write her voice into her Policies? Data Security and Data Privacy Policies are a lot different than her 'Diversity & Inclusion' portion within the larger 'Code of Ethics' Policy document. Soooo.... much writing.
